1. Service description

DocAlcove is a beta service that converts uploaded documents into AI-powered chatbots embeddable on third-party websites via a script tag.

2. Beta disclaimer

DocAlcove is in beta. Features may change, data may be wiped, and no service-level agreement (SLA) is provided. Support is available via email at hello@docalcoveai.com.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload documents you do not have the legal right to use
• Upload illegal, abusive, or malicious content
• Scrape, abuse, or reverse-engineer the service
• Use the service in violation of applicable laws

4. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you upload. DocAlcove owns the service code, infrastructure, and branding.

5. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocAlcove shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

8. Changes to terms

We will provide 30 days' notice of material changes via email.
